Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was an established Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most popular. He was in Shottas along with another artist Wyclef. Ky-Mani got signed to Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was Like Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles such as Judge Not With Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and the Who the Cap Fit Remix and Sensimelia. All of these songs contributed to the rising popularity of Ky among the young generation of reggae singers. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces along with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue an acclaimed cover that was a cover of the song by Eddy Grant Electric Avenue. Marley made his first appearance at Midem, an international concert which was held in Miami.
