Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko, an Kyrgyzstani Muay-Thai fighter from Peru and an artist in mixed martial arts competing for in the UFC for the Flyweight Division. She is at present participating. Shevchenko is the younger sister of the former UFC Flyweight champ as well as fellow UFC participant Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as an Muay Thai boxer. The result was that Antonina was given the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut in the TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modafferi with a split decision fight. She won the initial bout by unanimous decision. Antonina has recovered from her loss by defeating Lucie Pudilova on UFC on ESPN Covington against Lawler with a back-naked choke. It earned her the bonus of a fight-of-the night. Shevchenko fell to Katlyn Cookagian, but she beat Ariane Lipski in her subsequent three bouts. Antonina was recently knocked out by TKO in the second round to Casey O'Neill, at UFC Fight Night Santos Vs. Walker.
